HTC-Tornado.jpgThe FCC has approved the version of the HTC Tornado Windows Smartphone which will be heading to Cingular Wireless. It looks like this new Smartphone will be labeled the Cingular 2100 though that isn't quite confirmed yet.

The new phone will include the following features:

  • quad-band GSM support
  • 1.3 megapixel digital camera
  • Uses TI OMAP 850 processor running at 200MHz
  • 64MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM
  • 1150 MAH Lithium Ion Battery

    Now what seems to be missing from the specs is WiFi support which is a shame but hardly unexpected. Check out PhoneArea for additional pictures. Here is the FCC page.
