F-Tech NAV550 Professional Navigator GPS

Taiwan-based F-Tech unveiled its new navigation system called the F-Tech NAV 550 Professional Navigator powered by a now-standard SiRF starIII GPS receiver that works indoors as well. The 1100mAH high-capacity Li-ion batteries let you run the NAV550 for long hours on end.

Turn-by-turn voice guidance is provided by the NAV 550 on its stereo speakers. Maps on this GPS device are the smart2go ones from TeleAtlas. The embedded antenna design ensures a sleek look and feel, and the device boasts of a 3.5" TFT LCD capable of displaying 65k colors at 320x240 pixels resolution.

The device runs on Windows CE.Net 4.2, and a mini-USB interface is available to connect it to your desktop. It is compatible with SD memory cards, and comes with a 3.5mm earphone jack as well.
