Everex NC1500 Energy Efficient Notebook PC

Everex unveiled the new StepNote NC1500 notebook PC that runs on the VIA C7-M processor, making it one of the most energy-efficient notebooks around. Expect 1.5GHz performance at just 12W peak power.
The StepNote NC1500 comes with a 15.4" widescreen display featuring DiamondBrite technology, and is pre-installed with Windows XP Home Edition, keeping costs low. Main memory is set at 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, while storage is taken care by the 60GB 4200-rpm PATA hard drive.
The laptop also supports wireless LAN 802.11b/g. Featuring PadLock Security Engine for added security, the NC1500 is equipped with a DVD+/-RW writer sporting dual-layer support. Display is handled by a VIA Unichrome Pro, and you get a 1280x800 (WXGA) pixel resolution.
