Epson launched its two new Multimedia Storage Viewer, the Epson P-5000 and P-3000 recently and let’s see what they are about. These multimedia photo viewers are supposed to be a complete multimedia solution for both amateurs and professionals. Extremely sleek, the photo viewers are equipped with the new crystal clear 4” Photo Fine Ultra LCD which features the world's first 4-colour filter system. Thus one can store and view images from any angle during shoots or other activities and the viewers also support RAW.

The Epson P-5000 has an 80GB HD where as the P-3000 has a 40GB HD. Both players have built-in CF and SD memory card slots and they also support a wide variety of video formats including DivX. The new Epson Photo viewers are housed in durable aluminum casing ensuring that the viewers are not fragile!

The new photo viewers have a music player with remote control and headphones. Other features include; USB support – for USB host (USB-A) and USB mass storage driver, rechargeable Li-On battery and media transfer and management software. No word on pricing or availability.
Epson
