Now who would want to release a notebook with 80 gig hard drive? Apparently, it's Epson: their new Epson NT9500 Pro powered by Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology and implementing a 945PM Express chipset, you can choose processors from 1.66GHz to 2.16GHz.

The base configuration comes with a 15" SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) LCD display driven by ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 256MB video memory. It also features Bluetooth and an option to include the updated Intel Pro/WIRELESS 3945ABG for wireless internet connectivity.

With 512MB RAM (expandable to 2GB), the NT9500 also sports SD/MMC/Memory Stick slot. Available in Japan as of now for about $1,500. For more info, check out Epson's website.
