NJ5000Pro.jpgEpson today announced the Endeavor NJ5000Pro, an A4 Merom notebook featuring the all new Core 2 Duo processor. The buyers can choose from various models based on the processor clockspeed, T5500 (1.66GHz), T7200 (2GHz), T7400 (2.16GHz) and T7600 (2.33GHz).The notebook gets an Intel 945PM Express chip set motherboard and the HDD can be chosen too, from 40GB to 160GB all running at 5400RPM n featuring a SATA cable BUS.

The notebook comes loaded with Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and you can choose from 2 graphics cards that are available. You can either go for the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with 256 or 512MB of VRAM, or the ATI Mobility FireGL with 512MB of VRAM and a resolution of 1680x1050 or 1920x1200 on the 15.4-inch screen. The memory is powered by a 512MB PC2-5300 dual channel DDR2 SDRAM which can be upgraded up to 2GB and the optical storage includes a double layered (DVD±R 2 ) DVD drive. On the connectivity side, it includes 3 USB2.0 ports and a built in wireless LAN. You can book one of these directly from the Epson site.
