Easy Recorder 2

Here's something for you if you have tons of Memory Stick Duos lying around in your room. Hagiwara Sys-Com unveiled the new Easy Recorder 2, a portable digital video recorder that records in MPEG-4 format onto Memory Stick Duo or PRO Duo.

The Easy Recorder 2 allows you to record video content from your good ol' VCR (you know, that thing your grandpa never really figured out how to use - and neither did you), DVD or video output from any standard AV unit. Once recorded, you can then watch it on your Sony PSP or Apple iPod with video, or even on a PC thanks to the USB interface provided by the device.

Measuring just 120mm (W) x 66mm (D) x 20mm (H), the Easy Recorder 2 can take in Memory Stick Duo/PRO Duo up to 1GB in capacity. It provides three recording modes: Long (192 kbps), Normal (384 kbps) and High (768 kbps). With a 1GB stick and Long mode, you get up to 480 minutes of video.

Priced at US $139.99, the Easy Recorder 2 is available online from Hagiwara Sys-Com.
