atari.gifAtari, Inc. is all set to create history by launching the much awaited DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Tactics game for the PSP system. This is the first time that a D and D game has ever graced a portable system and both parties are thrilled. The game will thrill users with its tactical game play and is developed by Kuju Entertainment. This will essentially be a role playing game and users than relive the much loved board game on the go now.

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Tactics will include wireless cooperative game modes, down loadable content, customizable characters and the acclaimed 3.5 rule-set. With PSP system users can enjoy their childhood favorite game in new form and will come across new and thrilling story-lines and game plays. You can play a child caught in between two conflicting dragons striving for immortality and you can either side with good or evil. D&D: Tactics includes all D and D favorite characters like barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer and Wizard. Five Prestige Classes are available, as are two Psionic classes, the Psion and the Psychic Warrior.

The game includes a multiplayer mode and a co-operative mode. There is a very special Deathmatch mode which lets one fight in randomly chosen arenas with other players. No word on pricing but it will be available during the holiday season. For more information, visit http://www.atari.com/.]
