thinkpad x60s.jpgLenovo has refreshed the ThinkPad T and X line of notebooks with the introduction of the T60 and the X60 systems. These systems utilize Intel's Core Duo processor technologies and come with integrated WAN technology via Verizon's EV-DO and Cingular's EDGE networks. More importantly, the new notebooks are thinner and lighter than ever before.

The new ThinkPad T60 weighs only 4.8 pounds yet comes with an Intel Core Duo processor. You can get dual core systems running from 2.33GHz down to 1.6GHz depending on your budget. You can also choose between EV-DO support or EDGE support - both of which offer broadband speeds between 400 to 700 kbps.

The ThinkPad X60 is the latest ultraportable notebook to come from Lenovo. It's also one of the first tiny laptops to feature an Intel Core Duo processor. Up until now, X series laptops have traditionally been given low voltage processors resulting in lower speeds. The new X60 actually features a 1.8GHz Core Duo processor or a 1.66GHz Core Duo. That's not too bad if you ask us!
