Dopod has a new cell phone called the C720W, featuring a full QWERTY keyboard and thin 12.8mm body. At first look, you might even confuse it for a BlackBerry. Available in a combination of silver and black, the C720W weighs in at a hefty 130 grams.

The C720W comes with JOGGR dials. Apart from the QWERTY keyboard, you also get a digital pen to input text. The company claims that writing emails in English feels extremely smooth.

Powered by Windows Mobile 5.0, the phone runs on an TI OMAP 850 200MHz processor and 128MB ROM. Unfortunately it is not a 3G phone but does support WLAN, EDGE and the lower-speed GPRS networks for data access.

A 1.3 megapixel camera is available on the phone. No word on the pricing yet.
