Digital Photo Display
The digital imaging industry is big business and companies in all forms are jumping in to it. Now Philips Electronics have just announced The Digital Photo Display which is a high tech photo frame which is capable of displaying those precious moments captured by devices like digicams or mobile phones. However this not an ordinary photo frame and has a 16.5 cm, high definition, full color panel to reproduce the images and display them in the high quality possible.
The Digital Photo Display can display the images in full 16-bit color and is capable of adjusting the brightness up to 200 nits. It also sports a high resolution 720 x 480 pixel LCD screen and store up to 50 to 80 JPEG pictures from SD, MMC, Memory Stick and Compact Flash memory cards, or directly (via USB) from digital cameras and the included software makes life easier for the user and a PC is not required for accessing the images.
