    Black Casio Exilim EX-Z1000 Camera

EX-Z1000_1.jpgIn case you haven’t heard, Casio has just put out their best-selling EX-Z1000 Camera in black.

The camera has a high resolution of 10.1 million pixel which will bring photos to life in a world of sharpness and color. The high amount of megapixels give greater resolution, and so the camera can produce excellent zooms. Now, images that are blurry in the distance can be made up close with the touch of a button.

The LCD display is a 2.8 inch screen, allowing for a better 14:9 viewing. The screen has the option of a brightness control, so you can view the images in lower or darker lighting. The EX-Z1000 also has an amazing battery life and anti-shake DSP (digital signal processor) for more pictures with better quality.

To be honest, I don’t really know why Casio felt a need to put the EX-Z1000 in a different color. Perhaps they will go for red next. I wouldn’t be surprised if there will soon be a rainbow of EX-Z1000 cameras available at your next electronics store.

    Casio EXILIM EX-Z70 Digital Camera

exz70.jpgThe ultra sleek Casio EXILIM series is all set to welcome its newest addition, a brand new swanking 7.2 megapixels digital camera. The Casio EXILIM EX-Z70 retains all the plus points of the EXILIM series including its yummy design but also comes with new features which will make it get many takers. So what does it have to offer apart from its awe inspiring form factor and sleek curves?

Apart from a decent 7 Mp resolution, there is an onboard 3x optical zoom in the Casio EX-Z70 which not only provides long distant shots but also makes the macro mode look promising. The LCD measures 2.5 inch and has been designed to be viewed outdoors without the poor user squinting. Apart from an intuitive interface there is an Easy Mode , a user-friendly camera menu for beginners which simplifies camera settings to three easy menus (image size, flash, and self-timer). Thus novices don’t have to feel daunted with all the technical and digital features. Blurry and dull images can be combated thanks to the onboard Anti Shake DSP technology, so hello sharp images and goodbye blurry pictures.

Like all the current crops of digicams, the Casio EX-Z70 too has a decent movie mode which is able to capture footage at 30or 15 fps with sound. While the onboard 8MB memory is small in all standards however one can of course expand it via SD cards. There is Best Shot feature too which lets the user get top results by selecting a sample image of the type of scene the user wants to shoot. The makers have amalgamated style and functionality in the Casio EXILIM EX-Z70 and it will be available in two chic colors, Black and Silver. The digicam would be available around July for £229.99.

exz5.jpgThe latest addition to the ever growing Casio digital camera family is the Casio Exilim EX-Z5. As a 5 mega pixel point and shoot digital camera it stands apart with its exceptionally chic and elegant design. It is hard to ignore the Zen like form factor and the metal black finish. The camera features a 3x Optical Zoom lens and includes a 2.5 inch LCD TFT screen.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z5 may look extremely alluring but feature wise there’s nothing exceptional to write. Apart from the standard 5 MP resolution , and the 3x zoom it includes the patented Casio’s EXILIM Engine with Anti Shake DSP technology. This technology as many of you may be familiar by now reduces camera shakes and eliminates blurry images which appear during high action shots or at higher ISO settings. Full marks to Casio for including a 2.5-inch TFT color display which makes life so much simpler and better for the photographer.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z5 includes handy functions like the Auto Macro feature, the Quick Shutter and the multi auto focus for better and sharper images. Another feature which deserves a mention is the Revive Shot function. Thanks to this particular function user can photograph an old image or a text directly without worrying about the results. The onboard technology in the camera ensures that the depleted colors in the image are compensated by the Color Restoration technology. Some of the digital restoration options include trapezium correction, and photos shine resplendent.

The EX-Z5 also features a Rapid Shot Mode by which users can take up to three images using flash in just one second. With High-speed Image Scrolling function one can scroll through ten shots a second and the Auto Macro function delivers crystal clear results even at a distance of 10 cm.The camera has a very user friendly interface and comes with a lithium-ion storage battery (NP-20), USB cable, AV cable, extensive software on CD-ROM and a hand carrying-strap.
