Denon DN-HD2500: A Complete "Nerve Center" for the Mobile DJ
Tokyo based DENON DJ (an offspring of D&M Holdings Inc), recently announced the release-of a high performance breakthrough mobile- professional multimedia player.
Rivaling Numark, Model DN-HD2500 is the all in one portable DJ center perfect for the current music evolution. The recent wave of technological gain has led to djs dropping vynil in favor to cds and now even their laptops. This new toy; plays into all the potential needs in said industry to come.
The digital turntables house dueling CD/MP3 spinners and a removable (easy maintenance) shock-resistant internal 2.5-inch hard drive for any music collection. The ability to connect additional devices from virtually all-existing storage media, including iPods, external HDs and USB Flash Drives allows for infinite extensions to the library.
A small screen in the center allows for setup, queuing, and beatmaching. DN-HD2500 comes complete with a Music Manager software. Included is a highly refined search system which allows user to navigate through any files connected to the system with criteria including Playlist, Artist, Album, Title, Genre, Year, and BPM. Other features include scratching (watch out Qbert) , seamless looping, and a ton of special effects.
The Denon DJ DN-HD25000 is scheduled to begin shipping at the end of this year.
And price has not been announced. (Numarks run for $799... so were hoping for something competitive)
