Dell-XPSM1710 Family.jpgTheres great news for all the hardcore gamers as Dell today introduced Dell XPS M1710 Special Edition Formula Red & Metallic Black notebook, the fastest consumer notebook offering blazing performance to match its bold looks.

The new Dell M1710, really does justice to the tag as the fastest consumer notebook. Starting from 8.75 pounds, the M1710 is powered by a dual-core processors running upto 2.4GHz of clock speed, 667 MHz FSB and 2 MB cache. The notebook features a 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics offering serious mobile gamers almost everything they crave for from a notebook. It includes Serial ATA hard drive up to 120 GB and 1GB of RAM which can be extended up to 4GB (DDR2).

Offering a unique design, Dell is offering design choices of Special Edition Formula Red or Metallic Black displays. To further customize the look, each Dell M1710 notebook features an illuminated XPS touchpad and adjustable 16-color perimeter lighting. The body features a magnesium alloy reinforced RoadReady chassis which is rugged enough to withstand punishment yet light enough to take the game on the road without draining the player's energy.

The Dell XPS M1710 Metallic Black model is available immediately worldwide starting at $2,600 with an Intel Duo Core T2400 processor. The Special Edition Formula Red model is available in the United States and Canada only priced at $3,400 with an Intel Core Duo T2500 processor. www.dell.com
