Dell Precision M90 NotebookI was just complaining about Dell not allowing us to expand beyond 2GB on the Dell Precision M65 when the Precision M90 crossed my radar. Touted as the most powerful mobile workstation ever from Dell, the Dell M90 is a thing of beauty.

Starting with 17" display goodness that screams of extensive screen real estate, the Dell Precision M90 can take in either a 256MB or 512MB Nvidia Quadro PCI-Express OpenGL graphics card. While the M65 was limited to 5400-rpm SATA drives, the Dell M90 ups the limit, reaching out to 7200-rpm 120GB SATA drives.

Sure, it's a bit heavy at 3.81 kg. But when the target set of users require long battery life and exhaustive graphics capabilities, this is one thing you have to get used to. The Dell Precision M90 also sports a 5-in-1 media reader.

Prices start at US $2,239 (GBP 1,349) for the base model, and more info about the Dell Precision M90 is available from Dell's website.
