Dell Precision M65 NotebookIt's raining laptops today. After Toshiba and Panasonic, it's now Dell with their slew of awesome notebooks. Dell upped the number of notebooks in their Precision series with the addition of the new Dell Precision M65.

The Dell Precision M65 boasts of Intel Centrino Duo technology and 945PM chipset, allowing you to max out on a T2600 (2.16GHz) Core Duo processor. A 256MB Nvidia Quadro FX Go350M card offers OpenGL graphics, ideal for 3D graphics artists, architects and other graphics-intensive applications.

A bit on the disappointing side is the fact that a maximum of 2GB RAM can be installed. I would've loved a 4GB max. With a TPM 1.2 chip, you can be assured of security to your data - but you might consider going for an optional biometric reader for an added layer of security. The integrated smart card reader is a useful add-on on the Dell Precision M65.

The Dell M65's display back is made of magnesium alloy making it rigid and durable. An integrated 56kbps modem is provided, but I'm sure you will find better uses with the Gigabit Ethernet card available. Another neat feature with the Dell Precision M65 is the option to plug in a SATA hard drive.

You will have to shell out US $1,849 (GBP 1,173) to hang on to this baby. Detailed specs in extended entry.
