If the iPod video is not your thing you can opt for the, shall we say, next best thing (although I'm sure many will disagree) The Creative Vision:M, and why not? After all they own the patent for the iPod interface. Ooops.
Yes for $330, Amazon.com is now accepting pre-orders (no guarantee for delivery in time for the holidays) for the 30GB portable multimedia player. That's $30 more from what Amazon is selling the 30GB iPod for. That extra premium will buy you a built-in voice recorder, FM radio and an AC adapter, all of which don't come with the iPod video. You'll also get the option to purchase the device in some hip colors (pink, blue, green) aside from black and white.
