When it comes to Digital Audio Players, Cowon has been able to carve its niche with its iAudio Series. Now looks like the series is all set to welcome its newest addition which goes by the name of Cowon iAudio D1.

Unfortunately the iAudio D1 gets a D from us when it comes to its memory and a 2GB storage capacity which is quite unpardonable even for a Flash Based Player. If you belong to the rare species who does not really keep up with the GB race then the D1 is also available in am miniscule 1GB capacity (yikes)! However all is not lost as the player has a nifty little feature called Digital Audio Broadcasting, or "Digital Radio" and also supports Ogg Vorbis and Flac files.

Other goodies found on the D1 include; 1.3-inch 260k color OLED, image support and recording via internal mic or line-in. So if the D1 catches your fancy then be ready to shell out 149 pounds for the 1GB version, or £179 for the GB version.
