Coby%20PMP7040.jpgCoby has a new Portable Media Player code named PMP7040 and this one can be a hit anytime soon, seriously. If the 7-inch LCD screen isn't big enough for you maybe the 40GB of storage capacity that are included in the hard-drive are a reason to get your groove on. It can play AVI + MPEG 1/2/3/4 on the video and MP3 + WMA on the audio, it's also able to input and output audio/video content because of the A/V connections, so if you'd like to transfer some clips (that you legally downloaded) to the player you can just plug the cables and start recording directly to the hard drive, it's just that easy.

The PMP 7040 has two extra slots for SD and MMC memory cards, and also a USB2.0 interface. Other features include a good battery life of 7 hours, compatibility with Windows or Macs and a cool image viewer that supports JPEG and BMP image file formats. You'll get all this for only $330.
