Sony Ericsson W600i Walkman PhoneCingular is now offering the Sony Ericsson W600i walkman phone to their subscribers. While the W600i is a great little music phone, don't forget that it's confined to just 256MB of memory and cannot be expanded.

Don't hope for DRM'd WMA support on this one. The phone is compatible with GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks and has the trademark Sony quality sound when playing MP3, AAC or AAC+ tracks. It also features some useful utilities like POP3/IMAP4 e-mail client and Netfront browser.

Connectivity is through Bluetooth, Infrared, USB and serial cable, although your best bet would be with USB. Since memory is limited, you will likely end up storing only a few of your favorite songs. You can check out a short review of the SE W600i as well.

With a two-year service agreement, Cingular offers the Sony Ericsson W600i Walkman Phone at US $200.
