 Samsung SGH-D307Cingular has announced the availability of the new Samsung SGH-D307 mobile phone to its customers. The Samsung SGH-D307 is a clamshell based handset with a full QWERTY styled keyboard althought don't confuse it as a smartphone.

The Samsung SGH-D307 uses a dual hinge design that allows the user to open the phone either vertically or horizontally. Open it vertically and the phone is similar to other clamshells out there. Flip it open horizontally and you'll get a full QWERTY keyboard equipped phone.

As mentioned earlier, the Samsung SGH-D307 is not a smartphone but rather a regular mobile phone with a large keyboard interface. You get tri-band GSM support, GPRS/EDGE data network support, a large 262K TFT color display capable of 176 x 220 resolutions, and Bluetooth connectivity. www.cingular.com
