Cingular 8125 & 8100 HTC Wizard Mobile Phones
Best Price on the Internet! |
Woo-hoo! Cingular has just announced the availability of the Windows Mobile 5.0 powered Cingular 8125 cell phone! Boasting Wi-Fi and EDGE capabilities, the 8125 includes a QWERTY keyboard that slides out, and quad-band coverage making it a world-phone.
After the Cingular 2125 which really turned heads, the Cingular 8125 is the next Windows Mobile phone to come out of Cingular's stables. It comes with Bluetooth functionality, so you can go handsfree without having to deal with messy wired headsets.
A 1.3 megapixel cam is included, which could've been improved. I mean, 1.3MP is so passe. With Windows Mobile, you get a host of productivity and entertainment software, and the 8125 is no exception: mobile versions of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word are bundled.
Windows Media Player 10 gives you playback facility for MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA and AMR formats. You can also catch MPEG4 videos. With 64MB SDRAM and 128MB flash ROM, you get a mini-SD slot for expanding the limited onboard memory.
Weighing in at 5.25 oz, the Pocket PC measures 4.32" x 2.32" x 1". The thickness of the device is a bit of a turn-off. The Li-ion battery claims to offer nearly 5 hours of talktime and 7 days standby (but we all know that's not going to be the case, right?).
The Cingular 8100 is the camera-less version of 8125, but otherwise has the same feature-set. Available at a starting price of US $299 with a two-year contract, you can purchase Cingular 8125 or 8100 from Cingular's website.
