Ah, is there anything more American then…Hello Kitty? Actually, there probably is, because I believe Hello Kitty is an Asian invention. Or is it? Well, I really don’t want to do the research. Anyway, for those who like Hello Kitty, Taiwanese company OKWAP has put out a line of Hello Kitty phones.

For example, the A236Kitty is a nice little slider with a 3 Megapixel cmera at the top and reverse. It has a touch screen and stylus, and lots and lots of cute little icons.

Looks like the Hello Kitty phones have a primarily Asian distribution. Yet something like this would probably be a hit with little American girls, wouldn’t you think?

Here's a couple of new mobile phones from the Taiwanese market - the OKWAP A323 and H133. The A323 is a slider style phone while the H133 is a candy bar style mobile phone. Here's some info.

The OKWAP A323 is a slider style phone with a unique orange color design. Some of the features include 128MB of on board memory and an FM radio tuner. If you're a heavy MSN Instant Messenger user, you'll find this phone useful with its built in MSN IM client.

Meanwhile the OKWAP H133 supports handwriting recognition in English and in Chinese and comes with a built in stylus for the touchscreen display.The H133 also has a built in MP3 player and an English dictionary.
