Details of a new cell phone from Firefly have been made available after approval by the FCC. The Dual-Band CDMA/PCS CDMA phone from Firefly, aimed at children again. The original Firefly phone we did a story on back in July is a GSM one, this new one is a CMDA phone.

It features a few special keys like Dad call key and Mom call key, to call preset numbers. It also has an Emergency call button which kids can be trained to use when required.

The Firefly phone looks kid-friendly and comes in a small form-factor. For more info, check out Firefly's website. Also check out our story on the original GSM Firefly phone that we did back in July, the comments section it is going off! :)
