The Casio Hitachi NX9200 G'zOne Phone

1636_276x253.jpgThe Casio Hitachi NX9200 approved by FCC is the US version of the popular G'zOne phone of Casio’s. Casio and Hitachi merged their phone operations in 2004 and now they have come up with this phone that incorporates all the engineering cues of Casio's G-Shock watch line and it sports in the FCC documents a Verizon logo, so it will probably be carried by Verizon.

Casio NX9200, clamshell CDMA phone is water and shock resistant.
It includes 1.3 megapixel cameras for taking better quality snapshots, a music player for the entertainment of music lovers and a digital compass. In the U.S. version EV-DO high-speed data and stub antenna is added.

Casio Hitachi generally develop phones for Japanese but with KDDI, G’zOne is introduced in Korea in May 2005 and the company brought the G’zOne to Korea in December and in the same time they entered the U.S. market.

Casio Hitachi G'zOne Phone

Casio Hitachi G'zOne PhoneSpansion and Fujitsu announced that Casio Hitachi Mobile Communications has developed two new mobile phones with 512Mb NOR flash memory, utilizing stacked versions of Spansion's WS256N flash memory device. The WS256N is based on Spansion's award-winning MirrorBit technology.

The two models are G'zOne and A5512CA, now available in Japan, that come with 80 MHz versions of the WS256N. According to Spansion, the new handsets showcase the powerful multimedia features that can be realized with increased performance and code storage capacity.

The enhanced performance is greatly expected to improve user experience, with quicker-than-ever boot times and camera shoot times. Of course, this is one of those innovations that the rest of the world has to wait for some time to really experience it.

The G'zOne features up to 64 MB of code storage for advanced multimedia functions, while incorporating a 1.28 megapixel camera, mapping/navigation capabilities and video. One of the neat features of the G'zOne is the "Extension Mode" which allows you to check your address book and e-mail even when the battery is low.

The G'zOne also features Safe Navi GPS function, allowing you to check an individual's location, a feature ideal for parents.

Casio Hitachi A5512CA Phone

Casio Hitachi A5512CA PhoneCasio Hitachi Mobile Communications has released the new A5512CA mobile handset, which, like the G'zOne, uses Spansion's WS256N flash memory device.

The A5512CA features up to 64 MB of code storage, paving way for breakthrough multimedia functions. It comes in vibrant colors, appealing to a wide range of users. The phone incorporates a 1.28 megapixel camera in its compact body, along with a 2.2" QVGA LCD. You can take photos up to 1280×960 in resolution.

Some of the innovative functions of A5512CA include:

Pair Function
You can register up to five individuals whom you contact most often, and then call or e-mail them in a few easy steps.

Teens Mode Function
You can set limits on calling time and sending e-mail, while blocking access to unwanetd e-mail and URLs/phone numbers.
