FCC Approves ASUS O2 Xda Graphite Phone

The Asus O2 Xda Graphite cell phone just gained the seal of approval from the FCC. This 3G UMTS phone is compatible with GSM 900/1800/1900MHz networks and runs on Windows Mobile 5.0. The processor available on the O2 Xda Graphite is an Intel PXA270 running at 416MHz.
The O2 Xda Graphite is blessed with 64MB SDRAM as well as 128MB flash ROM, with expansion via microSD memory card. The phone also sports Bluetooth 2.0 and a USB interface. A big 2.2" QVGA screen capable of 65k colors is available.
Measuring 109.5mm x 46mm x 18mm, although it looks bulky, it weighs just 100 grams. Asus claims a standby time of 275 hours and 5 hours talktime. The bundled audio player can handle MP3, WMA, WAV and AMR, while streaming audio and video are both supported.
It is also equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. No word on pricing or availability yet.
