Casio introduces the Casio XD-ST6200 electronic audio dictionary with support for six languages - English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Chinese. It includes words from every aspect of life (business, health, travel, hobby etc.). The product features Casio's True Voice technology that brings out the words as spoken by a native speaker.

The XD-ST6200 is a compact unit measuring 144.5 x 99 x 14.7 mm and weighing just 250 grams. It features a super-bright LCD with a 480 x 320 pixel resolution and a backlight. The dictionary can be used to store new content through an external SD card slot. The unit can also connect to a PC via USB, so that you can transfer new content from a CD-ROM as well. Internal memory is around 20MB. Other features include search, spell check, and a map and diagram recorder.

The Casio XD-ST6200 is available in three colors: champagne gold, black and lead. It has a MSRP of 45,000 Yen (47,250 Yen with taxes). The champagne gold colored units will be on sale from the 17th of February, 2006. The other two will be on sale from the 25th. Initial production capacity is targeted at 30,000 units per month.
