The Casio EX-Z850 despite its compact and sleek design is supposed to be a powerhouse of performance. Not only does it produce great bright pictures but it doesn’t compromises on the image quality even in A2 prints. The zoom also doesn’t disappoint and the Z850 has a 3x optical zoom, 8x digital zoom and when both used in combination it reaches upto a mighty 24x. The DPS technology prevesnts the camera from shaking and prodcing blury pictures.

Casio has incorporated upto 34 predefined scenarios and this feature is labeled “BestShot” and the Z850 is also capable of recording videos both mpeg and VGA with the TV Quality Movie Mode. If recording movies wasn’t enough the Z850 also lets user edit the movie present on the camera something which should be seen more often in the various dig cams.

The Casio EX-Z850 has a rechargeable lithium ion battery and has built in flash called Rapid Flash which takes about 3 flash photos per second. Flash is also of 2 kind where for distant subjects users can use High Power Flash and to prevent underexposure users can access Soft Flash. here is also a dock for easy connection and the EX-Z850 also includes a built in speaker and microphone.
