Canon imageRUNNER 5000V

Canon unveiled its new multifunction printer, the imageRUNNER 5000V, targeted at high-volume printing. With speeds up to 50 pages-per-minute (B&W), the MFP supports copy and scan functions, as well as network integration and finishing capabilities.

The imageRUNNER 5000V sports an embedded print controller that provides for hi-res printing (up to 2,400 x 600 dpi), especially useful when printing images. The printer supports PCL 5e/6 and PostScript 3 page description languages. For multiuser environments, its networking ability helps during both printing an scanning.

With a 5-way paper feeding system, the imageRUNNER 5000V essentially has a capacity of up to 4,150 sheets. The finishing options on this MFP include multi-position stapling, hole-punching and 2,000 sheet capacity for long running jobs.

Out now, the Canon imageRUNNER 5000V is available for US $13,000.
