PhatWare Corporation has just launched the new CalliGrapher 8.3 exclusively for Windows Mobile devices which features new PenCommands and is also able to hide the Write Pad toolbar. These new PenCommands lets one dial phone numbers, send SMS messages and e-mail, and capture video or still images. By hiding the Write Pad by 25 percent, users get ample careen space and don’t need to squint especially when writing in landscape mode or in devices with small screens.

The CalliGrapher since its inception received a lot of accolades as it analyzes pen strokes written in any application window and transforms then into text via the advanced fuzzy logic and neural net technology. The new software is compatible with devices running on Windows Mobile 2003 based Pocket PC or later. But some features only work with the phone-enabled Pocket PC.
