Bushnell ONIX 200 GPS
Bushnell is stepping into the GPS market with several new GPS devices. One of them is the ONIX 200, which has many terrific features.
The Bushnell ONIX 200 allows you to visit the Bushnell web site and download satellite imagery, aerial photography, or topographic maps into your GPS device. You can download four images, and subscription model options are available as well. The images are available in grayscale (black and white) format on a 160 x 240 screen, but you can also purchase the ONIX 200 CR with a color screen.
The ONIX 200 is powered by 2 AA batteries for about 26 hours of use. However, that life can be extended by the SafeTrack mode which continues to monitor your location while putting other device operations into a sleep mode. The device also has USB connectivity and 32 MB of internal storage memory.
The Bushnell ONIX 200 is powered by a SiRFstarII chipset, and is about $199.99 USD.
