First there were notebooks. Then there were Toughbooks. Then of course we had BenQ's Joybooks. Well, guess what? BenQ has just added two more Joybooks to its line-up of the award-winning series, and both feature, you guessed it, Intel Core Duo mobile technology. They were unveiled at CeBIT 2006.

BenQ Joybook S73

BenQ Joybook S73
The S73 is equipped with a 14.1" monitor and boasting extensive digital entertainment features thanks to the presence of an ATI X1600 graphics adapter. With provision for DVI-D output signal, you can get great quality digital output which can be viewed on a bigger screen.

The S73 doubles up as your digital TV. Enhanced speaker positions provide for more accurate sound. Better noise suppression and echo cancellation design have been thrown in to make voice communication more effective.

A lightweight (just 1.5kg without batteries), 12.1" widescreen notebook, the S61 features anti-glare display and like the S73 has built-in digital TV technology.

Bundled software include Skype, QMediaCenter, QPresentation and Hotkey Manager for quick-launch of apps. The same speaker design as S73 has been retained.

Pricing has not yet been made available, but further info is available on BenQ's website.
