BenQ Joybook R 41E
BenQ has added another laptop on their Joybook R series, this one is targeted for “Young Professionals†and called Joybook R41E. It comes with a 14.4-inch screen that they call “Ultra Vivid†because of the vivid and good images that is able to display, this ultra feature works with DBEF (Display Brilliance Enhancement Film) which is the cause for the good image, and the low-reflectivity coating also helps the image quality in the brightness and crystal-clear sections.
In the inside we have a Intel Celeron M Processor 420 (and above), a graphic chipset belonging to Via UniChrome Pro, a SATA hard disc with options between 60,80,100 and 120GB, and a standard 256MB of RAM that can be expanded to a maximum of 2GB.
Since the Joybook's R41E target are young professionals, it is good to know that it passed various tests to make it last longer, like pressure, hinge and scratch resistance tests. On top of all this, there still is some pre-installed software such as Qpower, Qpresentation, Qmusic, Adobe Reader, PowerDirector Pro, Nero Express, PC-Cillin Anti-Virus, Photo Explorer and finally Power DVD – it's a good set of software that isn't usually included when you buy a computer. It is powered by 6-cell Lithium-ion batteries that can last a miserable duration of two hours and a half – that is if the power save mode is turned on, otherwise it's much less. On the wireless connectivity area it is well equipped with Bluetooth and WLAN, it also comes with four USB2.0 ports and built-in microphone + speakers with 1W of power.
