BenQ DC C1000
Yes I know cameras are popping up like mmm bunnies but hey whose complaining right? Take a look at the new BenQ DC C1000 which has the current favorite 10 Megapixel resolution and has a 3x optical zoom lens. This one would appeal to all the causal shooters as well as those who want to make large prints.
The BenQ DC C1000 camera is equipped with a large 2.4-inch TFT LCD display and like all self respecting digicams these days has a movie made which is able to capture MPEG-4 VGA mode at 30fps. It also has nifty modes like P/AS/M (Program AE/Aperture Priority/Shutter Priority/Manual) which lets one set aperture and shutter speed, thus giving full creative control to the user. One can also set the camera on Shutter or Aperture priority mode where the camera decides the settings accordingly.
The new BenQ digicam sports a contemporary design and is housed in a black and silver casing. It has an onboard memory of 24 MB and also supports Secure Digital flash memory cards. The digicam can be powered by two AA batteries and is also PictBridge compatible. Via the 8 second shutter speed night scene mode function one is able to achieve sharper results and the 4 continuous shot modes lets one capture unpredictable subjects like kids or pets. No word on pricing but expect a September release.
