BenQ-Siemens S68 Cell Phone Approved by FCCAh, Monday morning - bright and early - and FCC has already blessed the BenQ-Siemens S68 phone. A tri-band GSM phone, the S68 has a nice looking keypad (I hope they aren't as hard to use as they look to be) with 5-way Navi ring.

A premium phone, it is just 13mm thick and features brushed aluminum and soft back cover for added comfort when you hold it in your hand. The S68 offers a 1.8" screen at 132x176 pixel resolution and 262k colors which is impressive.

Thanks to Bluetooth, you can conveniently sync data between the phone and Outlook or Lotus Notes on your PC. The dual speaker system increases audio quality as well.

Targeted for a release this month end, more info about the S68 is available from BenQ-Siemens' S68 product page. A FCC Rep said: "We didn't want 3GSM to have all the fun this week".
