    lemmings_16.jpgThe Classic Puzzle Game Returns with a bang. Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc., today announced that beloved videogame Classic Lemmings is now available for the PSP system. Lemmings for the PSP re-creates the timeless formula of the Lemmings franchise and delivers a unique blend of nostalgic puzzle gameplay for all ages. Lemings, announced in 1991 first was considered one of the most platform ported games of all time and also one of the most hyped one as well.
    In lemings, gamers step into this role where they have to guide masses of hapless little green-haired creatures through various maze-like levels that have an entrance point and an exit point. Quick thinking and skillful management is required here. Players will need to control the Lemmings to avoid doom and disaster, including the threat of raging rivers, steep cliffs, pits of lava, mechanical spikes, and flame-throwing turrets that threaten the Lemmings' safety. Also to turn heads of the PSP owners, there are 20 all-new puzzles created specifically for the PSP and it also features more than 150 levels.

    Much to PSP owners's delight is the all-new brilliantly detailed graphics. Players will also be treated to a new mix of music to complement the vibrant visuals and challenging gameplay. The game offers many variations to complete a level; in certain cases players must sacrifice some Lemmings for the greater good, in other situations all Lemmings will need to be saved, which leaves you head scratching. Certainly not for the dumb heads but those also can improve their skills.
