Some have wondered whether the age of the iPod means the death of the Home Stereo System. After all, who needs a large, over-priced system when you can have all the songs you want in fantastic stereo sound in little light-weight box on your side?

Yet Belkin has adapted with a way that the iPod can be used with your stereo, not replace it. Simply put, the Belkin TuneStage II turns an iPod into a remote control for your stereo. That’s right, using Bluetooth technology, you can navigate playlists, find songs, and play them from up to 30 feet away.

This works with car stereos as well as regular stereos, provided both have Bluetooth enabling technology. The Belkin TuneStage II should be available in late November for about $149.99.
