The Mipro MA-101 is a wireless portable PA system by Alex Corporation, which promises to release you from the shackles of all those god-awful wires! Ideal for classrooms, lecture halls and those who are in love with their own voice, the PA system can operate on any of 100 selectable UHF channels. This one also has the world’s first ACT (Automatic Channel Targeting) function and comes bundled with a built-in 27W high-efficiency amplifier and a high-fidelity full-range speaker.

Thanks to its wireless capabilities one doesn’t need to be restricted to a particular spot when interacting with an audience and it works well both indoors and outdoors. One can choose between two versions— the MA-101a/ACT-707HE with a wireless handheld microphone or the MA-101a/ACT-707TE with a body pack transmitter. The system is also outfitted with a storage compartment housing, a shoulder strap and a threaded underside.

Via the onboard Line In jack, the MA-101a can be hooked up to portable CD/MP3 music players or other line level source and via the Line Out jack one can hookup to an external recorder. The PA system is capable of up to 8 hours of continuous operation per charge from its built-in rechargeable battery.
