Averatec To Incorporate Zone Alarm In Notebooks
It’s been a busy day for Averatec. After announcing its new notebook series, the company has just announced its joint venture with Zone Labs. For those who are not aware, Zone Labs is the developer of the award winning Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite. Now Averatec it’s going to incorporate the security suite in its new 7100 series. However users can access the software only for a 30 day trial period after they have to purchase it.
The ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite according to both companies is tailor made for the notebook series as it protects users from Trojans, viruses and other vulnerabilities. It includes antivirus and anti-spy ware features with automatic updates, wireless network safety features, parental controls and ID Lock feature. A ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite 30-day trial will begin shipping with Averatec notebook PCs in May which after the trial period would be available for purchase for 49.99$.
