Averatec 7100 Series - 17" Notebooks
Averatec Inc. a leading manufacturer of mobile computing products unveiled its largest form factor notebook which has a massive 17 inch wide screen. The 7100 Series by Averatec will not only incorporate high end technologies but also promises to be a complete multimedia device and would include the AMD Turion 64 mobile technology.
The Averatec 7100 series is extremely stylish and comes in an all black finish. It weighs just about 7.2 pounds and features a brilliant 17-inch WXGA widescreen display with the exclusive AveraBrite(TM) technology. Not only does it improves the over all screen but also enhances graphics-intensive presentations and other videos. It includes a Gigabit wired network which is at least 10 times faster than standard 100-Mbit Ethernet and the memory can be expanded to 100 GB. Some other configurations include; a built-in dual-layer DVD/CD burner and an integrated 5-in-1 media card reader, IEEE 1394 FireWire interface, and three high-speed USB 2.0 ports.
The 7100 series can be bought either with Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP Home, Professional or Media Center Edition and is Microsoft Windows Vista-capable It comes gully loaded with software’s like Zone Alarm(R) Internet Security Suite 6.0, Phoenix First Ware Recover software and Recover Pro software.
