super.jpgNo, this is not any other digital camera by any stretch of your imagination. It looks like one, but it is a camera with a microscope function. Aven iLoupe has come out with a wonderful concept that's gonna delight people who are looking for a microscope that boasts of a camera function as well.

The device does not have any microscope built-in, but features interchangeable lenses capable of achieving lens magnifications from 60x up to 150x. Meaning, you can zoom in on bacteria in the petri dish from 60x up to a massive 150x. The company says it is targeting forensics investigators and others who have in-the-field needs, as well as those who need to examine fabrics, components, and even skin up close. No word on the pricing and availability as yet.
