Seems like portable GPS devices are getting lower in cost everyday. The Audiovox NVX226 Portable Navigation system is the next for inexpensive GPS.

The NVX226 has a nice 3.5 inch touch screen, and features 1 GB worth of memory. It is preloaded with maps of the United States, but if you need Canada, simply download the maps from the included CD ROM.

The internal speakers guide you on your way with specific voice prompts, so you will never get lost. The NVX226 comes in a handy carry case, with a rechargeable battery.

The Audiovox NVX226 Portable Navigation system is available for around $600, but you might be able to get it for a cheaper price on Amazon.
