Asustek’s R2H is an excellent example of how Ultra-mobile Personal Computer (UMPC) Technology is getting better every day.

This device, with its 7-inch touch screen with 900MHz Celeron M processor and Windows XP Tablet PC Edition promises to be a handy mobile device for professionals who have to stay connected and on-the-go. It also contains Bluetooth 2.0 for short-range wireless connections, and 802.11a/b/g wireless access to the Internet and World Wide Web.

The R2H uses fingerprint authentication reader so that only you can access your files. In addition to this theft-security feature, it also comes with a high-resolution webcam and GPS travel guide to provide directions to anywhere.

The only drawback heard from many mobile electronic device fans is the device only carries 256 MB of RAM, which may not be enough for more active mobile PC users. However, the device has a SoDimm socket for a memory expansion up to 768MB.

The release date and price have not been set as yet.
