ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS), announced a new notebook line up, The ASUS V2 Notebook Series which offers 3.5G HSDPA support with speeds up to 3.6Mbps. Asus claims that the notebooks are ideal for the professional on the go as it includes a cutting edge feature set.

The V2 Notebooks are sleek and stylish with a whole bunch of business features thrown in like; High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) wireless broadband capability,W i-Fi (802.11 a/b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 and exclusive ASUS Security Protect Management (ASPM) for setting up multi-factor authentication. The notebook also comes bundled with a detachable docking station which is ideal for hooking up to peripherals, power and communication devices.

The ASUS V2 Notebook Series is equipped with the current favorite ntel® Core™2 Duo Processor and uses Windows® XP as its Operating System. One can configure the notebook according to their needs and budget. Some standard features include; 14" WXGA ColorShine LCD, DDR2 533/667MHz, up to 2G, an impressive 3 megapixel webcam, 3x USB 2.0, 1x port for Docking Station, 1x u-DVI, 1x TPM, 1x Fingerprint Reader, Instant Fun PLUS and a built-in microphone.
