Another new notebook doing the rounds is the ASUS U5255F-DR which is all geared up for a Chinese release. This new "portable" notebook weighs just around 1.4Kgs and has features ; Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor, 12-inch (XGA) LCD,‘TPM’ (Trusted Platform Module) etc under its pretty hood. It also uses Asus' "Splendid video intelligence technology" which promises "improved contrast, brightness, and color saturation,". No word on pricing or availability.
