ASUS Goose Cell Phone
Not content with their position in motherboards and computer peripherals, ASUS is also making a presence felt in the world of cell phones. Of course, naming your new phone "the Goose" is not exactly going to garner you too much attention.
But that's okay as long as the phone has a decent set of features. Apart from being a slim, clamshell phone, the Goose comes with extra-large buttons (that's what I'm talkin') and a 2.0 megapixel camera for photos and videos. With an integrated 64 megs of memory, the phone has a microSD slot for expanding that memory. Other multimedia features include an MP3 player and FM radio.
The Goose has PictBridge support, allowing for PC-free printing of phone images using a compatible printer, which is a nice addition. It also has Bluetooth capability, but it's not clear what profiles are supported. Voice recognition and webcam support (you know, where you can use the camera as a webcam for your computer) and flight mode support complete the feature list.
Details should be available on ASUS soon.
