The F2 Notebook Series by ASUS is unique because of its exclusive ASUS MiVo module. Thanks to this, Skype users are able to make mobile-to-mobile, mobile-to-PC or PC-to-mobile calls from any corner of the world at local charges! This is possible as these notebooks are equipped with the MiVo module which just needs a broadband connection and access to a regular phone line. When these two requirements are met, the MiVo then forwards any incoming as well as outgoing Skype calls to any designated phone/PC!

The new F2 series thus offers wire free communications and is a godsend for all the professionals on the go. The F2 notebooks measures 34.3 x 28 x 1.7~4cm and measures 2.7kg (6-cell battery pack). The F2 series is being marketed as Ultra Secure and includes Fingerprint Authentication, Trusted Platform Module and Exclusive ASUS Security Protect Manager. Via the ASUS Security Protect Manager, the user is able to setup multi-factor authentication requirements for data access of different security level.

Users can power the F2 series either by an Intel® Core™ Solo Processor T1350
an Intel® Core™ Duo Processor, an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor or an Intel Celeron Processor! One can also opt for the optional 1.3 M pixel web-camera and SATA 80/100/120/160G GB Hard drives.
