Astar Electronics unveiled its new DivX certified portable DVD player, the PD 8800, at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show. Available in an ultra-slim package, the PD 8800 sports a big 7" screen for your personal entertainment.
A top-loading DVD player, the PD 8800 sports DivX certification (DivX is a popular standard for digital video renowned for its remarkable compression). The 7" screen offers a 1440 x 234 pixel resolution at 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio and an access time of 12 ms. You can also connect the output to a TV thanks to the composite outputs provided.
The PD 8800 is packaged with AC & DC power adapters, A/V cables, ear buds, a remote control, rechargeable battery and travel bag.
