ARCHOS 604 Portable Media Player
The big-screen Archos 604 is here! With a 4.3" TFT LCD, the Archos 604 is a stunningly slim portable media player fully compatible with DVD-quality VOD (video-on-demand) and music online stores. The 604 comes with an integrated kickstand for convenient tabletop viewing.
Featuring 30GB for storing your photos, movies and music, the music player comes with ArcLibrary, conveniently displaying your music sorted in categories like Artist, Album, Title, Genre, etc. When new music is added to the 604, the ArcLibrary is automatically updated. The music player has a 5-band equalizer allowing you to customize the playback of music.
The Archos 604 features a hi-speed USB 2.0 connection for copying media from your PC. In addition, you can also charge the PMP from your computer's USB port - a useful feature. Mac fans need not worry, as the 604 is compatible with Mac as well, showing up as an external hard drive when connected.
Weighing in at 250 grams (8.9oz), you can also download the latest firmware upgrades from Archos' website. Available starting September, Archos claims a battery life of 16 hours for audio playback and 5 hours for video playback.
