ARCHOS 404 Portable Media Player
We had previously reported on the Archos 404, 504 and 604 portable media players listed on an online store. Well, here's the official confirmation straight from the horse's mouth.
The Archos 404 is the first sub-$300 large-screen PMP to hit the market. Falling in the fourth-generation line-up from Archos, the Archos 404 is ideal for watching videos when mobile. One of the thinnest PMPs at 0.6" inches, the 404 is equipped with a big 3.5" (diagonal) LCD capable of displaying 16 million colors.
The photo viewer included on the 404 allows you to zoom in, and has a range of transition effects. With 30GB of availabl storage, you can store nearly 15,000 songs and up to 85 movies. The audio player includes full album cover display, including track and artist. The other neat part is that it's got an integrated PDF viewer!
